This week we’re back to a product challenge.  I’ve requested PUNCH ART from the team this week!  I heard a few collective groans, and a couple of squeals of glee, but everyone delivered in the end.  Pull out your punches and play along with some Christmas fun!

Enter more than one project if you get a chance, the more the merrier!  If you do not have a blog to post your card on, you can use a free photo hosting site like Photobucket, or just email me the photo and I’ll post it for you!  Jump in with both feet!  We’re going to have random prizes on some weeks too so you NEVER KNOW when you might be in the running for some stamping goodies too!!!  I’ve got to have at least 5 entries in a week before I’m going to offer up a prize though!  Now, lets get on to the details of the challenge….

1: Choose a card or project that inspires you

2: Create your own Project

3: Load your project online somewhere, or email it to me at branicinoz@gmail.com and mention who on my design team inspired you.

Now on to the Inspiration!

For my card this week, I wanted to do something different.  I used the Build A Blossom punch to make a string of Christmas Lights!

Madonna made this adorable reindeer with brads for eyes:

Tina made a set of cute bells:

Monique made reindeer with the Owl Punch and snowflake die for antlers:

Chloe made this adorable Santa Suit with punches:

While everyone else is obsessed with Christmas, we also have a birthday coming up soon after that cannot, and will not be forgotten.  My son is turning 8 just 2 weeks after Christmas, so it’s important to him (and me) that we get his birthday party invitations done up and handed out before school lets out for the summer.  He has requested a “Trash Pack” themed birthday party this year, and we have had a brainstorming session already planning games and activities that centre around slime, boogers, trash, dirt,  and goo…sounds perfect for boys, does it not?  Here are the invitations I came up with, complete with a downloaded image from the internet.  I’ve used the Make a Monster stamp set to create the Bin Monsters.

I wadded up some “newspapers” and threw them on the ground and created the trash can out of the Decorative Label punch and Word Window Punches.  He just loved them.

Good Morning!  I’ve got some exciting news!  I had a play with my punches the other week and made some samples for my upcoming Blossom Punch class on April 29th.  In this class you will be making FIVE of these blossoms.  The flowers only.  I had put them on completed projects for display only.  This is a very time consuming undertaking, these flowers, which is why we will only make the flowers.  Cost for this class is $25.00.  Close up photos of each project are coming up over the next week or so.  Please contact me to sign up on branicinoz@gmail.com.

All of these blossom designs were inspired by others online and in their individual posts I will credit the site where I found them.

Hi There!  Thanks to all of you who played along last week.  It’s nice to get ideas from others and see different ways that you were inspired by the design team.  We’re back today with some more Christmas inspiration for you and your crafting mojo.  Here is how the challenge works:

2: Create your own Project

My card for this week was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest.  Don’t you love that site?  I know I have so many ideas pinned that I may never get to create them all!  Now, on to this week’s inspiration!

This sample that I made was not only quick and simple, it would be easy to mass-produce, which is what I do with Christmas cards a lot of the time.  Some years I make different cards for everyone and collect them all year, other years I make 100+ of the same card.  I can’t quite see making that many of this card however, I’m not sure my doily punch would make it through 300+ punches!  Each doily/snowflake has 3 layers to it if you look closely….

I’ve used the Confetti White card base, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and the First Edition DSP.  The stitching was done on my sewing machine…

Next up we have this watercoloured card from Kathryn:

Next up is this very sparkly card from Carolyn:

Tina’s card highlights the Postage Stamp punch:
Madonna makes great use of the Medallion Stamp:
I saved my favourite for last this time, this adorable punch art Santa from Brooke.  How cute is he!?
That’s the whole show today folks.  Surely one of these cards has made you go “Aha!  I know just how I can use that idea!”.  Scurry off now to your stamping tables and create away!  Once your project is loaded up, hop back here and click on the little frog below to link up your entry.  Remember, there may be a random prize if we get more than 5 entries, you never know when you might be in the running!

Punch Art Car

I know Father’s Day is long since past but I haven’t yet showed you the cool card that I made for my hubby earlier this month.  I found this idea for a punch art car online, and I copied the design of the car using all SU punches.  I changed it to yellow, and added a highway, and some road signs.  It’s not a “typical” Stampin Up card, but he loved it!  It’s exactly what he likes…cars, and road trips.  The kids enjoyed watching me make it too!

Baby Cards

I’ve been commissioned to make a few cards lately, and this week I had a request for a punch art baby card.  Last year, I took a few online classes in Punch art from Heather Summer here.  That is where I got the idea (and instructions) for these cute little characters.  Now I wasn’t sure which card she’d like so I made both, and she ended up choosing the Baby in the pram.  I’ve kept the little ducky one in my “available” box so it can be used in the future or sold if requested.

Just a reminder, nearly all the projects shown on my blog are available for purchase, as I have so many samples gflotaing around my office.  just click “Blog Projects for sale” abuve for details, or send me an email if there’s something in particular you are interested in.  I do make cards to order as well so if you want something specific, just ask.
