I received this FABULOUS birthday card in the mail from my wonderful friend Madonna Dunn. This came along with a small package as well, and don’t wonderful things come in small packages? She used Concord Crush for the base (purple is my favourite colour, in case you didn’t know!), the Mocha Morning flocked DSP and some FABULOUS letters cut from the silver glimmer paper. (on the inside it says “at 40″) Thank you so much Mads! Love you!

I love the textured paper in Mocha Morning. This was another quick card. I wanted it to be simple and elegant. I have no recipient in mind for it yet, it’s just going to be added to my stash of cards to have on hand.

This second card from yesterday’s class showcases the yummy Mocha Morning DSP. This is one of the designs that has a metallic shimmer in it. Some of the other papers in the set are flocked with black “velvet”. So yummy! Here I have stamped the Dasher stamp in champagne shimmer paint, going for a subtle effect on the very vanilla card.
The greeting is from the Snow Swirled Set, and punched out with the Modern Label Punch.
