This is a set that I haven’t pulled out in ages….and now it’s retiring! I’ve used the Summer Smooches DSP and a sketch from Mojo Monday (I think, I made this weeks ago)

The other day I posted the birthday version of this water coloured workshop card. I’m back today to show you the baby version. I used the same stamp set, Easy Events, but I turned the card to landscape and swapped out the DSP from Nursery Nest. This one is pretty cute I think!

I had a workshop a couple of weeks ago and the hostess asked me to demonstrate water colouring. She wanted me to show a birthday card and a baby card. I designed two cards with the same layout, stamp set and colours. Here is the Birthday Version using Easy Events. Come back in a couple days to see the baby version.
I’ve used the Nursery Nest DSP, Marina Mist polka Dot ribbon and the framelits dies to cut the image out.

This is the card that all the guests made at yesterday’s water colouring workshop. I’ve used the Easy Events stamp set, and I love this little tree! I’ve used the woodgrain background for a bit of depth in the background, and I’ve used the Soft Suede striped ribbon too. I love the little hearts floating up to the sky too!

This is the second workshop card from last weekend’s workshop. This time I’ve used the cupcake stamp and once again stamped it on watercolour paper with Staz On Ink. I’ve used the aqua painter in this sample but at my workshop I demonstrated the blender pens on this card, just to show some different ways to watercolour.
The DSP is Just Add Cake, and the ribbon is the Peach Parfait Poly Twill ribbon, which is so soft and easy to tie!

This was one of the cards that I designed for my water colouring workshop last weekend. Again, I used the Easy Events stamp set due to it’s versatility. I LOVE this little garden of flowers! I stamped it twice in Staz On ink on Watercolour Paper and used my aqua painter to colour them in with Calypso Coral and Wisteria Wonder ink pads, the stems are done with Lucky Limeade. I’ve used the Berry Blossoms DSP punched with the square punches to make the border down the side.
The flower centres were blinged up a bit with the tiny basic pearls.

I was working on designing some cards for a workshop last weekend and the hostess wanted to learn the water colouring technique. I chose the Easy Events stamp set since it’s got so much versatility. I made the two workshop projects (will be coming later this week) and then I wanted to make a card with this cute little rubber ducky. I don’t have a baby in mind to give this to yet, but I just think this ducky is so cute!
I’ve used the Nursery Nest DSP and the Quick Accents pack that goes with it for the frame around the ducky and the betters too. So quick and easy!

This was a card that I designed for a workshop with the Friendship Club at a local church. They requested a card that could have the sentiments interchanged to lots of occasions. They most often use Get Well Cards, and I thought “Sending You Love” was a great sentiment for that occasion. I started off with a simplified version:
I stamped the tree from Easy Events in black Staz On and coloured it in with markers. It was punched out and adhered to the Fancy Flower punch in Poppy Parade. I stamped the greeting in Whisper White and cut up the words, and scattered them on the Pool Party base card. The DSP strip is from Domestic Goddess.
In the stepped Up version, I added a large scallop circle punch behind the image, and punched out the greeting with the word window punch, matting it on the modern label punch. A couple of mini brads set off the label as well! I’ve stamped the tree image in Pool Party in the background and added a ruffled ribbon in Pool party cardstock as well.
