I had a request from a hostess to do a class for her friends at her home with a 12×12 scrapbook page, modelled after the page on the front of the Summer Mini Catalogue. This is the page that I came up with, modified, and the class was last night. I’ve used the Everyday Enchantment DSP, and the Array of Sunshine hostess set. The large blue flower is made with the Fun Flowers die, and I’ve done the Faux Suede technique on some of the flower layers.

Step it up Saturday #51 Array of Sunshine

Can you believe it’s been nearly a whole year of these Step it up posts? It’s getting to that time of year where I evaluate what kinds of posts to do. Can you leave me some comments on this post to tell me what types of posts you’d like to see? Techniques? Scrapbooking? Fabric Projects? 3Dimensional items? I’m happy to continue with the Step it Up posts if you like them, but I’m wanting to know what you all want to see! On to today’s project, which is a CASE of my friend Madonna Dunn. You’ll find her original card here.
The simplified version first, using the Hostess Set Array of Sunshine
For the stepped up version, I added layers to the flowers, and some bling and a bow.
I gave this card to our Office Manager, who held down the fort while we had our vacation to Hamilton Island. (along with a little present)
