This card was inspired by the one on page 20 of the current Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue. I learned a couple things when making this card….glimmer paper is NOT easy to punch through with the Lace Ribbon Border punch (or any punch with lots of detail really). That, and I love the framelits. A lot….

Interchangeable greetings
Posted in Generic Cards, tagged Apothecary Art, Attic Boutique on April 7, 2012 | 3 Comments »
My Mom is often asking me to make cards for her to have on hand. When I ask though what TYPE of cards, she is non specific. Sometimes birthday, sometimes Thank You’s, sometimes sympathy, etc. What I decided to do with her next batch is to make the greetings interchangeable. She can choose the card, and which greeting she wants to go on it.
I have used Pool Party, Very Vanilla and Soft Suede as the colours here and the new Attic Boutique DSP from the mini catalogue. Hope you like them Mom, they are on their way to you now!

This is one of the new stamp sets in the Autumn-Winter Mini, and while it’s not my usual style, I do love this one a lot! It coordinates perfectly with the new Framelits Dies, which are the greatest invention since sliced bread. LOVE them a lot!
I also have a glimpse of the Pleated ribbon behind the main image panel as well. It’s another of my favourite things! Oh, who am I kidding? I love ALL of it! What do YOU love the most in the new mini?
Tea Box

I saw a Tea Box on Heather Summers‘ blog several months ago. I knew I wanted to create one, but I just had not gotten to it, until I saw the new Attic Boutique papers. I knew they would be PERFECT for this box. See?
The stamp is from Apothecary Art in the new mini and it’s cut out with the to-die-for labels collection framelits. You will be seeing ALOT of these in the near future!
Just to clarify…I’m not a tea drinker, but I think this would make a lovely gift for someone who was!
