Archive for the ‘Thank You Cards’ Category

A few weeks ago, Angela Sargeant, the head of the Elite team (the larger team of Demonstrators that I’m a member of), hosted a cyberstamp on our Facebook Group.  She set challenges and we had to create projects to meet the guidelines.  I didn’t get a change to do them all but I did manage 2 of the 4, so that’s progress!  This was for the Colour Challenge.  The colours were Sahara Sand, Raspberry Ripple, Pool Party and Very Vanilla.  I’ve used the Artistic Etchings stamp set and Pretty Postage.

Way back in November, I went to the Heartfelt Regional Seminar in Sydney.  My good friend Tracey Eaton was demonstrating Brayer techniques, and I was able to make a few samples at her table.  These brayered backgrounds have been sitting on my desk for five months.  I finally put them to use and made a couple single layer cards, so the background would be the shining star…and the flowers are just stamped in black to be a silhouette.  Easy Peasy.

In that Mystery Card Kit swap was this lovely Thank You tag from Madonna Dunn.  Not being much of a yellow person myself I thought I would share her tag as it’s very different that I might create.  Thank you Madonna for organizing such a fun swap!

I wanted to use up some of my Parkers Patterns scraps and saw a neat card on Pinterest that was made in a Thanksgiving Theme.  I just swapped out the papers, and stamps and came up with a “Masculine” Thank You card.  This one is going to the guy who just painted our house (with his payment inside of course!)

Floral Trim Thanks

I just LOVE the new Floral trim in the Seasonal Catalogue!  You can use it in the vanilla colour that it comes in, or dye it with your reinkers!  I dyed these ones with Cherry Cobbler Reinker then once they were dry, used the Cherry Cobbler marker on the top edges for a little extra dimension….

I’ve used the World Spectacular DSP, the Oh, Hello! Stamp set and the cute doilies form the Seasonal Catalogue.

This cute Tank You card is one of my favourites on the Lemonade Stand disc.  It didn’t need much for embellishing with the cute flowers on it, but I still added a bow from the Sale A Bration ribbon set and some pearls in the flower centres.

When Tracey Eaton was busy creating the card I posted yesterday, I sat across from her and created this card. For once It was NOT inspired by Pinterest but by a card in the upcoming Seasonal Catalogue that goes live on February 1st. While I don’t yet have my preorder products, I used the idea with current products to create this thank you card.

I cut strips from the summer smooches DSP and attached them to a piece of card stock base, then cut the heart out with the framelits. I stamped the birdcage from the Aviary set inside the cutout. Love this one!

I was inspired by a single layer card that I saw on Pinterest, and I wanted to create a single layer card myself….something I rarely do. I chose this set, another one that I’ve never used…and came up with this….
