This is it!  It’s the FINAL Festive Friday Challenge!  I’ve had a great year designing these challenges, and for the few that have played along, I thank you for your participation!  I have, however, decided to stop running the challenges since I have had very few submissions all year long.  It’s a lot of work, not only for myself, but for my design team, and without submissions, then I just feel like it’s no longer energy I want to put towards it.  I hope you have all enjoyed the challenges for the past 50 weeks.  It’s time to pull the plug before Christmas and let everyone relax with their families over the holidays without the stress of deadlines or challenges to complete.

For the final challenge we have a Colour Challenge, in pretty traditional colours.

Colour Dec 21

Enter more than one project if you get a chance, the more the merrier!  If you do not have a blog to post your card on, you can use a free photo hosting site like Photobucket, or just email me the photo and I’ll post it for you!  Jump in with both feet!  We’re going to have random prizes on some weeks too so you NEVER KNOW when you might be in the running for some stamping goodies too!!!  I’ve got to have at least 5 entries in a week before I’m going to offer up a prize though!  Now, lets get on to the details of the challenge….

1: Choose a card or project that inspires you

2: Create your own Project

3: Load your project online somewhere, or email it to me at branicinoz@gmail.com and mention who on my design team inspired you.

4: Link your project below by clicking on the frog, which will take you to the link site.

5: Links close Thursday December 27th at 10am.  Winners will be posted later on December 27th

Welcome Back!  This week we are up with an Inspiration Challenge again.  I chose this image to appeal to those Vintage-Lovers out there, one of which I am not…often that is.  This was a real challenge for me, but I do love what I came up with in the end.  Here is the image you have to work with:

It’s Inspiration Time!  I saw this image online ages ago and I KNEW I had to use it for a Festive Friday Inspiration Challenge!  I love peppermints, and a jar full of them, or two is a happy sight for me.

Now, on to the Inspiration!

My card for this week took me three attempts.  I saw these cute peppermints made by Carrie Cudney at Convention and wanted to make them.  They are not QUITE as simple as she made them sound, and trust me, they definitely look better SMALLER rather than LARGER.  This was my third and final attempt, but I’m happy with how it finally turned out.

Tina has used Snow Swirled to mimic the peppermints:

Monique created these beautiful ornaments:

Tanya put some candy in a Perfectly Preserved Jar:

Madonna used the Candy Canes:

Chloe made this adorable Reindeer from an actual Candy Cane!

Now, on to the Inspiration!

For my card this week I scored up a beautiful rosette using the Christmas Candlelight DSP, and I used the Diagonal scoring plate to make a matching envelope too:

Sarah scored a quilted background effect and used the Pennant Parade set for her tree:

Sharlene scored a diagonal line background on the base and some pleated paper for an accent piece:

Alison made this adorable little ornament:

Tracey also made a quilted background using a different colour scheme and stamp sets:

Carolyn scored a textured background for her Gingerbread man:

Great inspiration from the design team this week!  I can’t wait to see what you create!  Click on the froggie below to link your image.  Happy Stamping!

Hi Everyone!  This week we have come back around to a Sketch Challenge.  Here is the sketch that I came up with for you all to try:

Keep in mind the sketch is just a guide.  You do not have to use a flower, the card does not have to be square, you can rotate it, flip it, do what you like with this sketch as long as it’s your starting point.

2: Create your own Project

3: Load your project online somewhere, or email it to me at branicinoz@gmail.com and mention who on my design team inspired you.

5: Links close Thursday October 25th at 10am.  Winners will be posted later on October 25th

My card this week followed the sketch almost to the letter.  The only difference real is that I chose to do a “normal” sized card instead of the square since the majority of my cards get shipped overseas….it costs less for a “standard” card.  I have made a poinsettia flower out of Raspberry Ripple Cardstock and the Build a blossom punch.  The greeting is from Petite Pairs:

Tracey used a square card and some ornaments in place of the flower on her sketch:

Sharlene used the snowflake die and some gorgeous glimmer paper:

Carolyn used the Mittens from the Chock full of Cheer set, and the mitten punch of course:

Alison used the Ornament Keepsakes Set and rotated the card to be vertical:

Sarah used the Polar Party set, and some more gorgeous glimmer paper:

So there you have all the inspiration from the design team this week.  Click on the Froggie below to link up your image.  I can’t wait to see what you create!
