Welcome back! This week we’ve got a colour challenge for you all! It looks a bit daunting at first, but don’t let these bright, non-traditional colours turn you off. Once you get them out and play with them together, you will see that they really CAN make some lovely Christmas cards. I think the Design Team has done a great job coming up with an amazing and inspiring collection of different projects this week! Here are your colours:
Enter more than one project if you get a chance, the more the merrier! If you do not have a blog to post your card on, you can use a free photo hosting site like Photobucket, or just email me the photo and I’ll post it for you! Jump in with both feet! We’re going to have random prizes on some weeks too so you NEVER KNOW when you might be in the running for some stamping goodies too!!! I’ve got to have at least 5 entries in a week before I’m going to offer up a prize though! Now, lets get on to the details of the challenge….
1: Choose a card or project that inspires you
2: Create your own Project
3: Load your project online somewhere, or email it to me at branicinoz@gmail.com and mention who on my design team inspired you.
4: Link your project below by clicking on the frog, which will take you to the link site.
5: Links close Thursday November 1st at 10am. Winners will be posted later on November 1st
Now, on to the Inspiration!
My card this week was pretty simple. I used the Delightful Decorations set and the Adorning Accents Edgelits:
Chloe used the same set and colours but made us a gorgeous candle:
Madonna used the Ornament Keepsakes set and some of her favourite colour DSP:
Tanya used the tree from Scentsational Seasons:
Tina used and inked and embossed background and the Single Christmas A La Carte Stamp (the name escapes me at the moment):
Monique used the Perfect Punches set and made a Criss Cross Card:
There you have it! Didn’t the team do a great job with those challenging colours? You can too! Just pull them out and give them a chance….click the Froggie Below to link our image. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
