Hi Everyone! This week we have come back around to a Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch that I came up with for you all to try:
Keep in mind the sketch is just a guide. You do not have to use a flower, the card does not have to be square, you can rotate it, flip it, do what you like with this sketch as long as it’s your starting point.
Enter more than one project if you get a chance, the more the merrier! If you do not have a blog to post your card on, you can use a free photo hosting site like Photobucket, or just email me the photo and I’ll post it for you! Jump in with both feet! We’re going to have random prizes on some weeks too so you NEVER KNOW when you might be in the running for some stamping goodies too!!! I’ve got to have at least 5 entries in a week before I’m going to offer up a prize though! Now, lets get on to the details of the challenge….
1: Choose a card or project that inspires you
2: Create your own Project
3: Load your project online somewhere, or email it to me at branicinoz@gmail.com and mention who on my design team inspired you.
4: Link your project below by clicking on the frog, which will take you to the link site.
5: Links close Thursday October 25th at 10am. Winners will be posted later on October 25th
My card this week followed the sketch almost to the letter. The only difference real is that I chose to do a “normal” sized card instead of the square since the majority of my cards get shipped overseas….it costs less for a “standard” card. I have made a poinsettia flower out of Raspberry Ripple Cardstock and the Build a blossom punch. The greeting is from Petite Pairs:
Tracey used a square card and some ornaments in place of the flower on her sketch:
Sharlene used the snowflake die and some gorgeous glimmer paper:
Carolyn used the Mittens from the Chock full of Cheer set, and the mitten punch of course:
Alison used the Ornament Keepsakes Set and rotated the card to be vertical:
Sarah used the Polar Party set, and some more gorgeous glimmer paper:
So there you have all the inspiration from the design team this week. Click on the Froggie below to link up your image. I can’t wait to see what you create!
