This week’s challenge is another Christmas Inspiration image. I found this picture on Google Images, and thought it was something Christmassy, but different that your typical tree or ornaments image I’ve used in the past.
For an inspiration image, you can use any part or all of the image to inspire you. In this photo it could be the colours, the food, the candles, or something smaller like the white pearl garland. Anything that strikes you can be your inspiration or starting point. See where it leads you!
Enter more than one project if you get a chance, the more the merrier! If you do not have a blog to post your card on, you can use a free photo hosting site like Photobucket, or just email me the photo and I’ll post it for you! Jump in with both feet! We’re going to have random prizes on some weeks too so you NEVER KNOW when you might be in the running for some stamping goodies too!!! I’ve got to have at least 5 entries in a week before I’m going to offer up a prize though! Now, lets get on to the details of the challenge….
1: Choose a card or project that inspires you
2: Create your own Project
3: Load your project online somewhere, or email it to me at branicinoz@gmail.com and mention who on my design team inspired you.
4: Link your project below by clicking on the frog, which will take you to the link site.
5: Links close Thursday September 20th at 10am. Winners will be posted later on September 20th
My card this week was inspired by the Candles, and the tabletop itself. I used the new Coredinations cardstock and embossed it with the Woodgrain embossing folder. I then sanded the raised areas with our new sanding system block to reveal the lighter colour inside the card stock. Isn’t this effective? The nice thing about the new range of embossing folders is that they have made them larger, so they will do the entire front of an A6 card now…not only that but they have REDUCED the price! Can’t get much better than that!
Our newest Design Team member, Monique, was inspired by the colours and the food theme to make this cute chain of Gingerbread Men:
Tina was also inspired by the candles, but made a card totally different from mine:
Chloe was inspired by the table setting and made some place cards for the table:
Tanya was inspired by the colours, and made a gorgeous card with the new Holiday Frame embossing folder.
Madonna is taking this week off to prepare for a market, but her next week’s submission will be well worth waiting for!
