Now I don’t often do Sneak Peeks before the new catalogue releases, but I do have a few for you this month.  Can you believe the new catalogue is coming out in just a few short weeks?  This stamp set, Animal Talk was one that I loved the first time I saw it.  I knew I’d have to order it, and then I WON IT at Convention!  I was so excited!  One of my staff at the office wanted a Thank You card to give to her Veterinarian, so I knew I had to use this stamp set, even though it’s not available yet.  It was perfect….

Pam Morgan showed us this card at Convention too, and how to make the “starburst” background.  The background didn’t turn out quite as nice as hers, and for goodness sake don’t look under the stamped image, it’s a mess…but the end effect it pretty cute.

I stamped the image in Staz On and water coloured it in with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.  The greeting originally said “Dog talk for Happy Birthday” but I omitted the Happy Birthday and used “Thanks SO much” from Pocket Silhouettes instead.  I then tied some Cherry Cobbler Twine on and a More Mustard Button.
